Chapter Four- VirActuality Tech

First came various game consoles that allowed users to interact with other users playing fantasy games in a 2 dimensional platform. Then technology introduced a 3 dimensional experience with the use of bulky Goggles that had a helmet like quality due to the way the earphones hugged the users head. Jerry was actually a great fan of all of this evolution back in the days. Then technology took a paradigm shift that didn't sit well with Jerry. After losing his job at NASA, Jerry went to work for an outfit called VirActualty Tech. Being a scientist at heart, Jerry was excited about the sci-fi quality the company seemed to achieve with ease. Hallways were breathtaking and seemed almost giddy with segway riding patrons moving about with pride and high spirits. Some wore business attire while others could be seen wearing Nike or Reebok from head to toe. Jerry felt comfortable wearing khaki with the official white lab jacket. Being fired for losing RISW was almost universally accepted  in the science world as simply politics and in no way injured Jerry's reputation as a profoundly brilliant scientist. After all, no one could actually explain how a prototype robot that cost over one billion dollars just vanished under the watchful eye of over 1000 cameras, 117 scientist and a tracking system tied to every cell phone in the world. Regardless, Jerry always felt a little weak when his mind realized that there really was no logical explanation for the disappearance. But with resumed determination, Jerry brought his enthusiasm for technology to VirActuality. That is until he met her.
