Chapter Four- VirActuality Tech
First came various game consoles that allowed users to interact with other users playing fantasy games in a 2 dimensional platform. Then technology introduced a 3 dimensional experience with the use of bulky Goggles that had a helmet like quality due to the way the earphones hugged the users head. Jerry was actually a great fan of all of this evolution back in the days. Then technology took a paradigm shift that didn't sit well with Jerry. After losing his job at NASA, Jerry went to work for an outfit called VirActualty Tech. Being a scientist at heart, Jerry was excited about the sci-fi quality the company seemed to achieve with ease. Hallways were breathtaking and seemed almost giddy with segway riding patrons moving about with pride and high spirits. Some wore business attire while others could be seen wearing Nike or Reebok from head to toe. Jerry felt comfortable wearing khaki with the official white lab jacket. Being fired for losing RISW was almost universally accepted in the science world as simply politics and in no way injured Jerry's reputation as a profoundly brilliant scientist. After all, no one could actually explain how a prototype robot that cost over one billion dollars just vanished under the watchful eye of over 1000 cameras, 117 scientist and a tracking system tied to every cell phone in the world. Regardless, Jerry always felt a little weak when his mind realized that there really was no logical explanation for the disappearance. But with resumed determination, Jerry brought his enthusiasm for technology to VirActuality. That is until he met her.

Chapter Three- Perfect Present
As Jerry entered the classroom, he could feel the uneasiness of his students as the virtual actuality cipher rendered everyone in sync. Virtual reality was now an old idea and the new schematics made the difference a matter very close to mere semantics. While this classroom was occupied by students located around the planets, the advanced Ghost O.S. version 2.7Million Point 3 protocol made it a mute point. Thus the uneasiness, from the last session when Jerry flew into a rage, felt very real indeed. Jerry began to question the wisdom of teaching this history course. He thought it was perfect because of his love for the past but felt hurt and disgruntled when the students outright laughed at certain difficulties from the past. He really lost it when one student blatantly said he found it hard to believe that people with fairly advanced computing capabilities could not realize one truth to economics, politics and etc. This is one of the reasons Jerry loathed virtual reality and virtual actuality. Even though these kids experienced the past through technology, this so called perfect class never seem to grasp the true emotions that existed. Some students were more sensitive but even that was not enough. Jerry now realized that the class was in sync and heard his thoughts. Oh well. Hello class.

Chapter Two - Ghost Operational System 3.0
Jerry was like a machine whenever he jumped into his Volkswagen Bug. The redesigned 2012 model seemed to fit his need for speed and flash. A subtle, refined flash that still yelled " Hey, look at how cool I look", while maintaining a reserved polish look. He put in the compact disk and immediately skipped to the Linkin Park songs with Jay- Z and Busta Rhyme. He could of easily just turned to the oldies station and listen to all the songs he liked from the past, but Jerry preferred real reality as opposed to virtual reality. That's why he drove an old school 2012 vehicle and why he still used Cd's. He chuckled as he realized he would even use cassettes if they weren't all owned by the super rich and a few local museums. Even though it was no longer necessary , he still carried his beloved old school Apple Iphone 4s and Apple Ipad 2 . Though most material things seemed silly in 2023, Jerry felt a certain touch of joy when he stared at the still beautiful and well designed remainders from the past. He felt a little tinge of sadness and joy when he remembered how fast the Iphone 4s sold out way back in 2011. Of course ideas like supply running out and economic worries were all remnants of the past. But just like people from his youth held unto old ideals that were dead and gone, Jerry still had an affinity for the past- as imperfect as it was. But everything changed, almost overnight it seemed. With sad eyes, Jerry remembered the day they fired him for losing track of that freaking "special robot" that drank that freaking "special water". RISW just vanished like a ghost. Jerry laughed at the little joke that just occurred to him. RISW, running on the Ghost O.S. 3.0 protocol , vanished like a ghost. Funny but not Funny. But that was over 10 years ago and 2011 seems more like a dream than anything that really happened. Jerry let out a little sigh. Thank God, I had this car customized by Leumas Customs back in the day. Just like cassettes, only the super rich and museums had actual art and craft from Leumas Arts. Even the artists from Leumas seemed confused at the extravagant prices their handy work commanded. After listening to his old school CD, Jerry switched to his personal music feed. While he often reminisced about the past, the music that existed today, especially those using the patented O.T.A. FP protocol reminded him of why things had to change. The music started and immediately the natural high started kicking in. He closed his eyes and smiled when his minds eye quickly kept him seeing the road. No longer mentally blind. Ahh.... the future did have its perks. Jerry could see with his eyes closed, but he still didn't see the gleam in his cars inside monitor. Still blind, RISW thought, still blind my human friend.

Chapter One - Special Robot
When did the merge happen? Some say it started with the NASA Ghost O.S. that was created to work with Microsoft Explorer, Google Android, Apple Safari and other Operating Logicel protocols. The tech world was still feeling a sense of loss from the death of their beloved Steve Jobs. While it seems that the whole world grasped the enormity of the loss, so- called techno geeks (that love the moniker geeks) were especially mourning with deep sincerity at this sad milestone. Perhaps the sadness is why no one at NASA noticed that a robot, running on the Exponentially Learning Ghost Protocol Operating System, seemed to have a gleam in its simulated eyes. RISW , which happens to also include the most advanced artificial intelligence known to man , had a gleam in its cyborg eyes that was strange and very noticeable- If someone was paying attention. Jerry picked up a vitamin water for himself and the special water for RISW. Jerry always got a kick from watching RISW drink the "special water". Made up of nano chips so miniscule they resembled water, the special water was actually not a liquid in the true sense of the word, but a new texture of nano circuitry that boosted RISW's memory banks and allowed for super sonic computing. Jerry smiled as RISW "drank" the special water. This took his mind off the sting of pain he felt from the passing of an icon. An icon he wanted to work with, but now was not possible. As Jerry left the room, he felt a slight chill on his neck. Like he was being watched. Watched, not from the large amount of cameras in the room but from something else. After a long second, Jerry just brushed off the feeling. The shiny eyes followed him and appeared to shed a tear. Not a real tear-but a stream of information that seemed to simulate flesh as it trickled down RISW's metallic face. Special water for a special robot. As Jerry walked away from the building, he also walked away from the chance to make a difference in what was to come. And it was coming very soon.
